Samples of schools' work arising from the project are included in this section of the Clachan Project website. Further outputs have been the stand-alone 'Clachan Kids' Website' which is a ready-made project for upper Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 pupils, containing worksheet material and related background reading, photographs, video material and a substantial teachers' section. Another output, the book 'How It Used To Be' , in the childrens' own words, covers some aspects of the work done by the schools which took part in the project and includes many examples of stories collected and retold by the children.

As well as studying the clachans themselves, the children have explored connected themes such as 'emigration' and the experience of living in a clachan long ago.
