Hugh A. Boyd delivered this lecture to the society in October 1975. A member of our society from its formation, Hugh served on the committee for a number of years. A Ballycastle man, he was Deputy Headmaster of Ballycastle High School. Hugh Boyd has the distinction of being the most frequent lecturer to our society. His knowledge of local history was second to none.
