My connection to Antrim is that my gt grandfather John McHenry was born in Glenarm in 1843. I believe his mother Sarah my gt gt grandmother (maiden name n/k) was born in Glenarm c1805. His father, also John McHenry, was born in 1801 in Ireland, possibly Dundalk.

I can only think the McHenrys worked on the Earl of Antrim's estate.

The family moved to Liverpool/Birkenhead in the 1850/60s.

I visted Glenarm last October and was impressed by the beauty of the area and magnificent coastline. I intend to return in 2006.
